Creating Your First Estimate

Build professional estimates that convert prospects into customers

Before you start:

  • • Have client information ready (name, email, property address)
  • • Know your material and labor costs
  • • Prepare detailed descriptions of work to be performed
  • • Consider equipment and disposal costs

Instructions:

    Navigate to Estimates
    Click Estimates in the main navigation menu

    Click New Estimate
    Located at the top right of the estimates page

    Select or create a client
    Choose from existing clients or click Add New Client
  4. 4
    Enter project title
    Use descriptive names like Spring Cleanup Package or Lawn Maintenance

    Add line items
    Click Add Line Item for each service or material
  6. 6
    Fill in line item details
    Enter description, quantity, unit price, and total for each item
  7. 7
    Review the total amount
    Check that all costs are included and pricing is accurate

    Add notes and terms
    Include payment terms, project timeline, and special conditions

    Save the estimate
    Click Save Draft to work on later or Send for Approval to send immediately

Sending Estimates to Clients

Get estimates approved quickly with professional delivery

Instructions:

    Open the estimate
    Find your estimate in the Estimates list and click to open it

    Click Send for Approval
    This button appears at the top of the estimate details page
  3. 3
    Verify client email
    Confirm the email address is correct before sending
  4. 4
    Customize email message (optional)
    Add a personal message to accompany the estimate
  5. 5
    Send the estimate
    Click Send to deliver the estimate to your client
  6. 6
    Track approval status
    Monitor when clients view and approve estimates in real-time
